Loxam Access

Mediaco, the No. 1 in France in the crane rental and provision of lifting and handling services, is selling three of its rental businesses in France to the Loxam Group, as part of its repositioning strategy of its lifting, handling business.

This operation concerns:

- The sale of MMS, specialist in rental and sale of modular buildings, founded in 2006 in Fos-sur-Mer. This company will be joined to Loxam Module, the specialised subsidiary of the Loxam Group, which will allow it to strengthen its equipment fleet and its presence in the southeast area of France.

- The sale of Medialoc – a general equipment rental company based in Carcassonne. This branch will eventually become part of the Loxam Rental network and complete the Languedoc base of the Loxam Group.

- The sale of the lifting business of the Toulouse based MSO. The equipment fleet consists of platforms, self-propelled booms and truck mounted-platforms, which will reinforce the fleet of the Loxam Access branch in Toulouse.

Today all of these activities represent a turnover of over 4.5 million Euros. The teams that have contributed to the reputation and expertise of these different structures will join the 4300 strong employees of the Group Loxam.

After these operations, the Loxam Group will strengthen its regional position in Southern France and the Mediaco Group is refocusing on its lifting, handling business.
